Workforce Readiness Committee

Mission: SHRMGP Workforce Readiness Committee is committed to creating partnerships and removing barriers between employers, post-secondary programs, community based organizations, governmental agencies, and other entities providing employer-based support for working age persons of all diverse populations in today’s and tomorrow’s world.

Scope: SHRMGP is interested in creating partnerships between employers, high schools, community colleges, community based organizations and One-Stop Career centers to address the workplace challenges that arise when current and future members of the workforce are not ready to meet the upcoming skills and knowledge requirements necessary to thrive in the workforce.
